Montreal Grand Prix Weekend 2025
Montreal came alive last night as the Canadian Grand Prix weekend officially kicked off, transforming the city into a glowing playground of sound, speed, and celebration. From the cobblestone charm of Old Montreal to the electric buzz around Crescent Street, every corner pulsed with energy as race fans, tourists, and locals came together under the summer night sky. For this series, I decided to do something different—experimenting with black and white photography to capture the mood and contrast of Montreal after dark. Shooting at night always brings its challenges, but there’s something timeless about the way light hits wet pavement, the way shadows stretch between crowds, and how even a simple glance feels cinematic in monochrome. These photos are not just about the Grand Prix—they’re about the heartbeat of the city itself, the moments in between the noise, and the way Montreal lights up with character, even without color.
